The only real difference is in the operating system they run and software programs they use and the case they come in. You do know that Apple Mac computer use the same hardware as all Windows computers. Not sure why you are going all Mac for your workplace. The 21.5" models are SEALED units no upgrades at all by the user or Apple after purchase. The 27" models, both 20, do have User accessible RAM slots so in the future if you need more RAM you can upgrade it. Screens should be the same on both 20, or very very similar. Your help on this will be appreciated!Ī finally question, if I choose to go with the Macs from late 2012, will I get Mavericks update? Or I will have to buy the update? It may be needed some video editing but just a few times year. This Macs will be used in graphic design, web design, photoshop, illustrator, in design, dreamweaver, etc. So my questions is, if the late 2013 models are a big improvement to justify I sacrifice one 27" display for one 21" display. But after looking for some options, at my country (Portugal), I'm able to get some discounts. The reason for the 21" is just money constrains. ![]() My first choice was one of 27" and other of 21", entry point models of late 2013. I'm choosing the best iMac for my company employees. I'm an Apple geek for years now, but just with iPhones and iPads.
